You are right, there are some missions I have never played at all. May 2010 be the year of my first complete Quake2 game

NEVER  ?

I'm amazed too. But it doesn't surprise me however. Well... to be honest.. I'ven't finished Quake 2 campaign on regular gaming nor here.

I just played the whole campaign using "map <mapname>" and cheats... no luck there :P

Quake 2 campaign is a great one. There aren't many nowadays.

its kinda annoying when you play q2 campain it easily gets boring/repeating.
my friend game me the missions paks and i kinda like forced myself to play them with no cheats. its somehow not that interesting

Well, is certainly true that it ain't one of the best, and I think that Call of Duty 1 or 4 campaigns are way better than quake 2. BUT, we have to take into account that they are totally different games, and that also means totally different storyline and also dev team.

And, hey: You're in strogg planet, you're on an offensive. Don't expect the stroggs to have beautiful land and their installations to have "design variety". But yet, it was a nice campaign with basic but hard puzzles.
