when i make a server it says in console couldnt find maps/q2dm1

Ho thank you cptkirk to post here the answer of my question about your strange log on the WorldServer.

Ignore the mail I sending directly to you. You need to download the standard ID software deathmatch maps. Sorry I haven't clearly annouce that on the Guide page of COOP or DIE.
The WorldServer use the first deathmatch map for the startmap map : item are dynamicaly removed, and the 4 teleporter are added.
You also need q2dm3 because the surprise map use it (damn, it's not a surprise now ).

If I remember well, the deathmatch maps are in the official ID 3.20 Quake2 version (freely downlodable in their site).

I suppose you talk about the layout, it's a replacement of the standard score layout. You must type the key 'X' for displaying it.

But like I saying in the mail I send to you, COOP or DIE is currently more a technical demo than a mod with a real gameplay, so there are not a lot of people connected at the same time.
Stay informed, after the 0.3 release, I will work on the gameplay .

Fo MOD developer, I will probably write a tuturial for the 0.3 version, because the WorldServer API will become more stable (100% in dll).
