I played on KMQuake 2 engine, I hope there is no problem with this, becouse the engine was not identified in the log.

I did it again right now with additional ANDREI's monsters. I deserved my star
By the way, in some places, for some unknown reason to me monsters appeared inside me. The only way to kill them is to throw grenades at himself. Perhaps the problem in KMQuake engine, but I'm not sure.

This bug has been around for a really long while. It only happens if you reload a map that has additional monsters. (ie: base2 [Installation] -> base3 [Comm center] -> base2 [Installation])

Using Knightmare Quake 2 shouldn't be a problem. You should be able to get your star whenever Pat checks the log.
