Is there a reward for completing the entire campaign in this mode?

Although it's an impressive feat, there are no special rewards for it. There was, indeed, a guy in particular who as far as I can remember came with his own Star designs for completing challenge mode.

Pat rewarded him with a black star for his feats, but I believe that was a one time only.

Actually, I've just looked into it. His name was Zethzune, a pretty nice guy if you ask me :p. I can't find the post and he doesn't actually have a fancy Black Star next to his name, but I remember... Pat? posting it in a reply at least.

So, your only reward is the honor of having defeated such a challenge :p. It would be interesting if, someday, we had an even greater challenge to face... Perhaps in a mod...

So, i wash looking in the whole q2 hall of fame and i actually saw Zethzune's back star and i really like it.... My question is: why Pat can't give us this beautiful star?

Anyway it's always a pleasure quakin again with some(need this 4th Gold star to become a Golden player ))

Regarding the black star, you may see more about it in this thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=506&p=2935#p2935 (and the following page). Basically, I doubt Pat will work new stars out because it would take some effort fiddling with this old project (understanding & implementing ancient code), which requires some time on his side.

I wonder what Pat is up to nowadays...

Then I installed Quake 4 (because despite having a powerful gaming laptop now my nostalgic tastes just won't die) and thought of coopordie...and holy hell am I glad to see it back on!
