My friend is trying to join my game that I have hosted and are getting errors. He's on 56k and I'm on DSL, I already have the ports opened. Anyway, when he joins, my consoles pops up the message invalid name or no data from user. Anyway to fix this?

Can you copy/paste the exact message on the forum ?
Does your friend have a COOP or DIE account, and does he loging before joining you ?

So far I have experienced 3 different errors.

1) The first error would say "Player name" has no data, I'll try to get a screen shot of this.

2) Second one would be invalid player name.

3) This one is odd, the console says that my friend has joined, but he is stuck on the loading screen, not the one with the bar that goes to 100%.

Yes, I second everything that somefool has said. I myself have gotten stuck in that loading screen with just the "LOADING" button in the middle of the screen, and I remember getting the "### RPC_Error: player ___ has no data" error.

If you have time, think you can make the mod support Quake2max. Cel-shaded games are cool.
