I download quake 2 patched 3.20 and installed coop or die. I wanted to play it with my friend but when i loged on i didn't see his server.


(It's another problem)
Oneday he came over and i said lets play coop or die on lan but when playing in lan iff one of us died we both died.Any way not to die together?

Can anyone help me with these problems. Iff someone helps me with first problem then there's no need to help with the other problem

My understanding is that the point of coop or die is exactly that. If one of you dies then you both die, so that you are forced to work together.

thats why it is called coop OR DIE

I agree with Pud and GhostFace : COOP or DIE !
Hit the score key (generally bound to "X" key) for displaying the coop HUD and watch the life and shield bar of your teamate, let him loot some medikit if he is lower than you.

About your first problem ("didn't see his server") it is probably a firewall or router issue.

how to i stop router from blocking coop or die?
