What a challenge that was in solo mode. In Mission 2, I used Invulnerabilty + grenades to blow myself up 3 separate times to kill the spawn bugs that stuck to me one after another. It was close. 1 sec of invulnerabilty left. I did not want to go to start map because I wanted to keep my extras.
Mission 3 was a little easier, coupla spawn bugs but I was moving fast and they dropped behind me. They would shoot you before they became visible.
Mission 10, well talk about monster heaven. Taking the lift in the final shown down, I nearly died when I saw the sea of monsters. I was lucky to get underneath them and slowly defeat them.
I would have to say that this is the best game ever - with the added monsters.

Finishing the game with the additional monsters is always impressive. Congratulations!
