Re: Profile help.
That sounded like a funny Christmas. But you kept it until the end of March? LOL! Better make another surprise for us this Christmas.

Re: Profile help.
OK, problems here. First off, when I continue a map, all the monsters are back perfectly fine and alive and all my items and keys are gone. So pretty much I have to re-do half the unit. It would be great if we could keep out items and the game the way we left it.

Re: Profile help.
If you take a break between maps, which are in a single unit, all the monsters will be back, so that's why I advise you to take breaks when you enter a first level in a unit, because if you take a break in a level between other levels in a unit, and you have to go back, all the monsters will be alive and kicking.

Re: Profile help.
I was joking in reference to that all the monsters come back if you leave the game

Sorry for bringing an old thread up, but are these still applied in the game? I guess not, because I have never seen any monsters replaced so far. So, why was it removed then? Too many complaints? I remember playing this Quake 2 mod called "Experience", if I recall it right. So, in there it was common for Tank Commanders and Maidens to replace Stroggs in the first map and most had some annoying special abilities. Now that was unexpected!

It's because like it's currently working, replacing a monster remove the specific properties of the original monster. On some missions there are monsters that can drop items that are necessary for accomplishing the goal.
