I won`t make any new thread yet. First i need to have a tournament tree pic ready, and I don`t know when will I be raffling the players and the maps.
And I also don`t know, how about the times when the matches can happen. But I guess they can hppen whenever each player is ready.
Also, other rules (like the warming up ones), there will be changes.
In that russian server (duel), there is an option (ready!). When both of the players type it on console, 10 second countdown will start. After that, them atch ill staart. In that server, if I`m right, the timeleft was 20 mins (but we can change the timelimit, tho).

Can you share the servers ip you've planned if its a public one? Since i suppose in has to have the maps you/we want to play too. (also to check ping and stuff)

I`ve been in that server before (playing with cristi97 and delta). It`s almost always empty, and is a duel mod. And it really suits our needs for the tournament. The referee could be a spectator, and... Not only ref can watch, but everyone as well. (Though someone must record these matches or kinda like that).
Ping? When I played in that server, my ping was around 100. RFor americans the ping could be higher, tho. But, for example, for you, the ping would be around 100 as well.
Also, the server has all ID`s maps, and not only them, tho (but only some of the people had ever played those non-ID soft. DM maps.
I will give the ip whenever the tournament will start.

A bit about the tournament -
Sindce we have 8 players, I want the tournament to have final standings, so we know, who`s first, second, third, etc.
I mean....
1. round 2.round FINAL

The losers of the 1.round will play the league-like matches, which will decide the 5. - 8. places. Like every player has 4 matches.
The losers of the 2. round will play a match that will decide the 3. - 4. place.
What about this?

Also, seems like that server runs only one DM map - Q2DM1.

I`ve finally prepared a tournament picture. I`ve managed to make it better than the one made last year, but this one isn`t really cool aswell, but at least something anyway. (uploaded in a bad quality, because ofd the file size. Coopordie allows to upload pictures with a size that`s less than 295kb :/)
