When I rename the dll to kmgamex86.dll, it consequently crashes during the startup. It doesn't display any specific error, it just says 'the program has stopped responding'.

Re: Quake2XP engine: coopordie ready
@CombatEnforcer : The KMQuake2 engine can't run a standard Quake2 mod. It needs a DLL recompilation. Sorry, I don't plan to do this.

Re: Quake2XP engine: coopordie ready
You mean to work with the worldserver?
Also, I can't seem to get EGL working with coopordie either. I can play it, but it doesn't recognise the wsrv_login command.

@CombatEnforcer: please, stop to quote every message
EGL and other Quake2 engines work well with coopordie. If you want to use one, install it in your Quake2 directory and edit your "coopordie.bat" file, replace quake2.exe by egl.exe or quake2max.exe ...etc.
Engines that don't work with coopordie are engines that break the compatibility with vanilla Quake2 DLL. KMQuake2 is one of them. Quake2XP breaks also the compatibility but it has a special command to restore it "+set net_compatibility 1".

Hi Barnes,
It's cool to hear news from you. I'm impatient to see your next release.

Re: Quake2XP engine: coopordie ready
Hi Barnes,
Thank you for the link, I'm downloading your last engine and will test it with coopordie. I think it's a good choice to have switched your host to SourceForge.
One tip: add a big button to load the latest version of your engine or a link to the download page on your homepage. The actual logo is nice, but there is nothing to click and your menu on the left is very small.

Re: Quake2XP engine: coopordie ready
Barnes, I've tried your last engine but without success.
Is there a "readme.txt" about what to do for using modification based on standard Quake2 DLL ?
In addition to the coopordie command line parameters, I've added "+set net_compatibility 1 " and created a copy of the coopordie DLL named "gamex86xp.dll". But it seems that the engine continue to use its own DLL.
