OK guys, my new PC is up and working, I found a new graphics mod that works with Vista and I have re-installed Quake 2 plus all my old mods and maps. All five levels of the mission-pack are complete, now I have the fun task of tweaking and bug fixing ahead of me. As well as that, I am considering re-doing level 1, as it is terrible compared to my newer maps. Glad to be back,

Hmmmm, yesterday I got Lazarus working... expect a very different Quake 2 experience. I'll post some new screenshots sometime this week. I'm trying to do two things I really missed in Quake 2, teammates and vehicles. I'm thinking of trying to add some kind of communication between you and your squad.

Ok guys, I need help here, I am trying to place a turret in my redo of level one. I am using the Lazarus mod, can anyone send me a demo map with a simple turret useable by the player so I can implement the idea into my map pack? I'd really appreciate it.

I can't blame you to use the Lazarus mod, I know myself how it is a very good modification. It's just that with this dll you will loose compatibility with coopordie :(

Wait, I will?!? Hmmmm. Well I'd have to redo the third level... and I'd hate to lose my idea of an AI squad (like in Quake 4). Maybe later I could do a Lazarus version for singleplay with AI bots instead of real preople. I will think on this and reply back when I have found out whether I can convert my maps back to vanilla Quake 2.

Pat, it is not posible to import some features from lazarus (wich are compatible), and use them here? In that case, those features are the ones Rodrigez uses?

Tell you what guys, I've managed to get my maps back to vanilla Quake 2 and there they'll stay. The only failure was a vehicle-based level which I'll have to try and re-do with func_train and buttons. After I've released the coop version, I'll do a single-player Lazarus version.
