I was wondering if anyone still has the Quake 3 worldserver beta source code since it would be pretty interresting to make a Quake 3 scoring system like Halo 2 on the XBox!

Yeah! So far i have been successful in implementing some of the worldserver code into my quake 3 mod. I even have a cool new ui for logging onto the Worldserver as well. ill post a screen shot soon. As for the rpc code, that would be very helpful as i am trying to get this whole thing to connect. Ill post a screenshot later and wish me luck with the php portion!

I remember that the rpc code is not actually directly portable to linux (socket and thread difference).

I would suggest you to contact GhostFace, leader of the Nosferatu game, he use QFusion with a very enhanced WorldServer, he works on a Linux port for dedicated server and he has merged the php/MySQL worldserver with phpBB. It is definitively a very promising project.

yeah, i have seen that screenshot when i was looking over the forum (right here at http://www.quakesrc.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1760!) I just got EasyPHP to work with your old website backup and the 0.4b worldserver.sql file. Took me a while to do that but i haven't checked to see if it works in game yet. Ill try to contact Ghostface about his advanced WorldServer (Screenshots look sweeeeeet )
