I was attempting to connect to a server started by "Genesis-". I know he was logged into the worldserver because I joined his server through the multiplayer tab in quake2 after I connected.
After connecting we could see eachother and move around the startmap freely, after entering any teleporter the map would load, then kick us back to startmap after about 10 seconds... or sooner if one of us hits a key.
I'm on sort of a wierd network setup. I live in a remote area in southern utah, my isp provides service via a giant wireless network, its possible there may be some ISP side firewall that's screwing with me if no other problems are obvious...in any case thanks for looking into this, your mod is awesome.
Is it normal to loose my weapons between maps? I've got a copy of the wsrv_log from that night if you'd like me to email it.
