Does anyone know if Q2 Evolved works with Coop or Die, and if so how whats the trick?

I have a friend who uses it and I helped him get it working. Try "+set fs_game coopordie" instead of "+set game". I don't know if the modified DLL will allow you to host, but you can try. Also, the newer community versions of Q2E use an advanced lighting system that isn't compatible with custom maps or the mission packs. If you try to play them, you'll simply see total darkness, so you might want to stay with 0.40.

I decided to just go with EGL, I liked the water caustics and rail effects better. A lot nicer to my FPS as well.

EGL is amazing, horrible artifacts appear on it, due to my PSU I think, all my games have some artifacts unfortunately. Oh well, at least my PC can handle any game out there. It's a fair trade I suppose.

I had a PSU that couldn't handle my video SLI setup and after about six months my 500$ video cards started showing discolored pixles everywhere even in windows and on the BIOS boot screen. I thought it was my LCD at first but figured out that putting a different Video card in fixed the problem. Ever since then I will never buy a video card past 100$ ever again lol. Also if I do ever want to waste some money I'll make sure I got plenty of "Wattage".

It's only wasting if you don't have Crysis or Bioshock

I don't Crysis gameplay too much, at least when I played it last there was lots of cheating. I have never played Bioshock MP but I played the Bioshock Demo it was awesome.

LOL, Crysis MP sucks. The SP is truly amazing though. Bioshock (thank god) didn't make MP, but the SP is even better than Crysis.
