Replace texture?
Hi, I know this isn't a mapping forum but I only have one question. I've worked with Radiant for Return to Castle Wolfenstein before and Hammer for HL1 and HL2 before, and UnrealEd, so I'm familiar with caulking the unseen textures.
Out of habit I build everything with a caulk (or the 'Default' texture in UnrealEd) first, and then I go back and texture everything, why, because this helps me spot errors better. I.e. if I accidently have the Caulk/Default texture on the edge of a table, it's much more noticeable compared to if I have i.e... the wrong metal texture on the edge of a table. I may not ever notice the latter to fix it but if it was the other way I would notice.
I couldn't find a caulk texture so I built everything with Radiant's 'Default' (no shader) texture first, then textured everything manually. I only have a little hallway so far. It seems that the no shader texture causes problems when compiling... it says something like: **** Error opening, c:/quake2/../../../colormap.pcx, and the map seems to always be fullbright, and then I get console errors in Quake2 about a "Can't find Null texture". (it still runs, but it's fullbright). The map is not leaked btw.
Is there a "Replace Texture" feature somewhere? Or do I have to manually re-texture the hidden surfaces or start over? Thanks

Re: Replace texture?
Nevermind, fixed it. It's an error about colormap.pcx.. for reference, to fix it, you need to download a Quake 2 pak extractor, then open pak0.pak, and find the file: pics/colormap.pcx, then extract that file, and move it to:
../Quake2/baseq2/pics/colormap.pcx
