i have no idea what you mean.
for a hard mode id actually like something that isnt trial and error instakill (kaizo/iwbtg "difficulty") and something that is like regular quake but harder.
similiar to roguelikes having a change for an enemy to spawn as a stronger variation could work for having people to watch out, cood already has change for enemies to upgrade into better ones but that doesnt make it too much harder and its only for basic enemies.
