Post crash on multiplayer
so im trying to join a multiplayer game, and when i click on thr join multiplayer option it just gives me a black screen, so i have to cntrl al del it.

ive never had q2 crash on me at this point before, and ive played every mod out there.

what is coopordie doing at this point that isnt working? :?:

ahh..

it might be the version or q2 or pc im using.

I just reinstalled q2 after ages and its crashing even on normal q2, when i try to 'join game'...

will have to have a bit of a fiddle with it

Try some more recent engines, some of them have fixed old networks errors.

I had a similar problem. Quake 2, with all of the engine versions I have, crashes hard every time I try to use the multiplayer menu. I usually host so it's not an issue for me (I also use the console command "connect"), but I think it's COOP or DIE that's causing the crash.

EGL (Doesn't appear to have a version number!)
